Anne was walking through the woods with Diana, Gilbert, Ruby, Josie, Jane, Tillie, Cole, Charlie, Moody, Billy, Jerry, Mr. Phillips, Miss Stacy, and Pryce Andrews when she spotted a small, abandoned building.
"Look at that!" said Anne. "Shall we go see?"
Everyone went inside.
In the center of the room was a huge machine, full of buttons and lights that were off.
"What is that?" Diana asked.
"I've never seen anything like it..." Gilbert commented.

A bright light enveloped them all. When the light faded, they were no longer in Avonlea.
All around were computers, strange devices, and colorful posters.
"What place is this?" Cole whispered.
"Could we be... in the future?" Diana asked.
The laboratory door opened.

Right behind them came Mavi, Bia, Evi, Mirela, Mila, Joseph, Igor, Lucas, Tom, and Bill.
"Who are they?" Mavi asked.
