Fontaine is the fifth major nation of Teyvat in Genshin Impact. Inspired by Western Europe, it is notable for its Industrial Revolution theme and the introduction of underwater exploration mechanics, and is home to iconic characters such as Furina, Neuvillette, and Arlecchino. Access and Exploration: You can reach Fontaine by following the Archon questline or by unlocking a direct teleportation to the northeast of Barsom Hills in Sumeru after completing the game's prologue. Its most distinctive feature is the diving system, which allows you to explore the region's lakes and seas with unlimited oxygen. Architecture and Design: The Court of Fontaine and its surroundings reflect European artistic styles such as Baroque and Art Deco, combined with Neoclassical influences. The soundtrack varies between waltzes and jazz on the surface and electronic music or ambient chants underwater, making for a relaxing and enjoyable immersion.

Émilie: A renowned perfumer expert in aroma research.

The Captain of Genshin Impact is a tall, strong man who wears a dark helmet with silver and gold details, which conceals his face. Physical Characteristics: Height and Build: He is a very tall character with a robust build. Hair and Eyes: He has long black hair that grows out from behind his helmet and bright, dark blue eyes. Helmet and Mask: He wears a metal piece on his head resembling a captain's cap with a pointed plate that covers the lower part of his face. The Hidden Face: His True Face: Beneath the helmet, his real face is disfigured and in a state of decay due to an ancient curse of Khaenri'ah.

Capitano, the Herald of the Fatui, is distinguished by his unwavering sense of honor, his humility, and his pragmatic approach. Unlike other ruthless members of his organization, he is deeply respected even by his enemies, prioritizing righteousness and loyalty to the Tsarina above treachery.

Capitano enjoys a great reputation among the Fatui, and Viktor states that, if he could choose, he would prefer to work under Capitano.

The Wanderer, however, sees these attributes as a negative combination and points out that maintaining "absolute righteousness" is a potential danger. Godfrey, a former soldier of Khaenri'ah under Capitano's command, states that every time Capitano compromised his sense of honor, he lost his chance at victory. Although the two men held differing views on justice, Capitano tolerated these differences, seeing that their contrasts made them perfect partners.

As the first of the Fatui Heralds, Capitano possesses powers that rival those of an archon. However, he mentions that he is in a weakened state due to the immortality curse that has "degraded" his body. Despite this, he remains incredibly powerful. Mavuika, the Pyro Archon, told him that during their confrontation, she felt as if she were fighting against the pinnacle of human strength and considers them equals, to the point that a battle between them could go either way.
