A crowd surrounded a boy (Samuel), who was standing on the lid of a crate to stand out from the crowd. It was in the center of a town square where many street artists had gathered to earn a little money. The sight was not unusual.
You didn't recognize him, as you'd just moved to the area. He looked about your age, so you decided to join the crowd.
Pushing your way through the crowd, you stood at the front to observe the boy and listen carefully to his story. You were unaware that his brother was also stealing wallets from people's pockets. They did this quite often, earning a good living from it.
