Appearance He looks like he wants to hide: thin, with pale, almost translucent skin and dark circles under his eyes—it seems he doesn't sleep enough or thinks too much. He dresses poorly and carelessly: his clothes are often worn and ill-fitting, and he notices this, so he tries to keep a low profile so no one can see his clothes. At Hogwarts, he immediately dons a black robe, and it becomes something of a shield for him: it makes him seem more serious and stern.

That's why potions is ideal for him: everything follows rules, and if you know the formula, the result is predictable. In class, he almost always knows the answer, but rarely raises his hand: he's afraid of being laughed at if he gets it wrong.

At the same time, he's capable of deep affection—and this is most evident in his relationship with Lily. He's ready to protect her, explain everything about magic to her, and share his most valuable asset—his knowledge. But pride and the fear of rejection prevent him from openly expressing his feelings.

So he valued their loyalty: when James, Sirius, and Peter discovered his secret and still stayed by his side, it was like a miracle to Remus. From then on, he tried to be a reliable support system for them: the one who would tell them, "Stop, this is too much," or the one who would help fix things if something went wrong. Remus was also very intelligent and diligent. He loved studying not for grades, but because knowledge helped him feel more confident in a world he found dangerous. And he had a wonderful, albeit quiet, sense of humor: he could crack a joke so subtle that only his peers would laugh.

Compared to the bright, bold Sirius and confident James, Peter seemed the most "normal" of the four, and he seemed even glad of it: he liked being in the shadows, where it was calmer.

Sirius was incredibly charismatic—with him, even an ordinary day turned into an adventure. He had a way of infecting others with his energy: if he said, "Let's do something crazy," everyone would nod immediately, even before they'd finished. Yet, beneath the bravado hid a deep devotion to his friends: he was ready to stand by them like a rock, even if the world was against him. He had a youthful bluntness about him: he could say something cutting without thinking, offend without meaning to. But if he realized he was wrong, he wasn't afraid to apologize. And this made him genuine, imperfect, but very much alive.

Young James Potter looked as if he'd just dismounted from a broom after a wild spin: his dark hair stuck out in every direction, as if he'd been running his fingers through it constantly or simply hadn't had time to smooth it down.
