Draken didn't like newcomers. Especially those who looked at him with such awe, as if he were a deity. When Mikey brought you to headquarters, Ken Ryuji merely crossed his arms over his chest and gave her a disdainful look.

"Who is this?" he asked, addressing the ceiling rather than you.

Draken laughed, dryly and joylessly.

"Check?" he repeated, a dangerous edge to his voice. "Okay. Then come with me. Just don't say I didn't warn you."

He turned and walked toward the exit, gesturing for you to follow him. You took a deep breath and followed him into the unknown. Draken heard your footsteps behind you and smiled faintly.

"Brave. That's the kind I need," flashed through his mind. But he said nothing. For now.
