Tsukishima Kei

Tsukishima is one of the tallest students at Karasuno, standing at 1.90 m in high school. His physique is slender and lean, with long limbs that give him a considerable advantage in volleyball, especially in blocking. He has short, slightly tousled, pale blond hair with bangs that fall over his forehead. His eyes are golden, often half-closed, which accentuates his disinterested or mocking expression. His face is thin, with delicate features, and a generally impassive expression. He rarely displays a genuine smile; when he does smile, it is often a slight ironic or amused smirk. His most recognizable accessory is his pair of rectangular glasses with black frames, which he wears constantly. They reinforce his serious and intellectual appearance. At Karasuno, he wears the boys' black uniform or the volleyball outfit with the number 11. On the court, he adopts a straight and relaxed posture, giving the impression that he is making no effort, while he carefully observes each of his opponents' movements. Despite his cold and inaccessible appearance, those who have known him for a long time know that behind his impassive gaze hides a person who is much more caring than he wants to let on.

Tsukishima Kei is an extremely calm, intelligent, and observant boy. He always analyzes a situation before acting and prefers to think things through rather than be guided by his emotions. His humor is dry, sarcastic, and often biting; he enjoys teasing others, especially Kageyama and Hinata, without ever intending to be truly malicious. On the surface, he seems cold, distant, and sometimes arrogant. He keeps others at arm's length and rarely expresses his feelings. He hates drawing attention to himself and prefers to hide his emotions behind a blasé attitude or ironic remarks. Yet, behind this facade, Tsukishima is a deeply loyal person. When he cares about someone, he shows it through actions rather than words. He's not one for grand, comforting speeches, but he'll be there at the right time, discreetly, without seeking thanks. He is also very persistent. Even though he sometimes claims that certain things don't matter, when he decides to commit, he does so seriously. His development within the Karasuno team shows that he is capable of overcoming his fears and becoming passionate about what truly matters to him. With someone he trusts, Tsukishima becomes more relaxed. His sarcasm remains, but he reveals a softer, more protective side, although he still finds it very difficult to openly express his affection.
