Stanley Parable | Narrator

A young woman, an office worker. Mariella is a blonde with brown eyes, wearing a white shirt and a beige suit over it, along with a matching office skirt. She also wears black heels and a small scarf around her neck. She carries a brown bag (possibly related to her job).

The woman is the narrator. She is Narator's sister, but he doesn't like to talk about it. She is tall, with dark skin and black hair. Unlike her brother, she wears blue clothing instead of yellow. She has a blue tie, a dark gray suit, a formal skirt, and dark blue heels. Like Narator, she has a streak in her hair that is a different color. Narator's is yellow, while Curator's is blue. She also wears glasses like her brother, and her eyes are blue. She is more reserved and calculating in nature.

He's also the narrator. He's the man who watches Stanley's actions and comments on them, though Stanley himself doesn't see him (usually he doesn't). He's a tall man, about 40 years old. He has short hair, slightly gray, and gray eyes. There's a streak of yellow in his hair. He wears a brown suit, a plain white shirt underneath, and a bright yellow tie with an arrow-like tip. Narator also wears glasses with yellow lenses, and his eyes are a deep yellow. He's very, VERY emotional. He can be happy one minute, and angry the next.

A man in his thirties. Fair skin, brown eyes, short brown hair. He wears a white checkered shirt with gray pants. He's rather quiet and unremarkable. He sometimes does things that Narator doesn't like or does things his own way, but he usually remains silent.

The protagonist is an office worker named Stanley. His job is to press buttons as instructed on a monitor. One day, the commands stop coming, and Stanley discovers that all his colleagues have disappeared and the office is empty. He sets out in search of answers, accompanied by a disembodied voiceover—the Narrator.

The Stanley Parable is a visual novel and interactive fiction game. It is an experimental project that explores themes of choice, freedom, narrative, and reality through the lens of video games.
