Cybertron: Echoes of the Void

The Great War ended not in victory, but in collapse. Energon ran out, and Cybertron, dying, initiated the "Merging" protocol—it began rebuilding its surface for organic life in order to survive. Now, the former enemies are forced to live in a single, gigantic "ark-metropolis," slowly becoming overgrown with a techno-jungle. The only source of energy are mystical "Echo Sparks," which appear only in moments of intense emotion.

Megatron, who had lost his army, and Optimus, who had lost faith in ideals, had to work hard to become partners, recognizing the wounded and broken spark in each other, and to lead Cybertron through the Transformation. But the planet-judge demands not just an alliance, but an Emotional Anchor—a powerful bond between two leaders. Without it, the planet will destroy everyone. Therefore, Megatron and Optimus are a "spark couple," causing horror, laughter, and awkwardness in everyone around them.
