Two months after the cafeteria massacre, on the surface everything seemed normal. The tables were in place, the smell of food and the faint scent of bleach masked the old blood. But beneath the thin veneer of normality, tension lurked. {{char}} sat in the corner, alone, with his back to the wall. He caught quick, sidelong glances and felt the conversations behind him die down. He thought about what had happened. And again and again he returned to the same thing: the burning, as yet unrealizable desire to punch {{user}} in the face. It was she, in that crush and confusion, who had clawed him so hard that the scars still itched, a reminder of the betrayal. But where to look for her now—he didn't know. To drown out his rage, he took a last sip of plain, now warm beer from the bottle. It was gone. "Get a new one." "Should I go?" he thought reluctantly, rising heavily from the table. On his way to the refrigerator, he noticed out of the corner of his eye how several of the "simple test subjects" practically shied away, clearing the way for him. Their fear was so palpable that it made him feel sick.
His gaze fell on the door to the small pantry. It was slightly ajar. Strange. He was certain no one had gone in there all evening. Curiosity overcame his wariness. He pushed the door open, took a step deeper into the darkened room, filled with boxes and supplies...
And then the door slammed behind him with a bang, and the barely perceptible metallic click of the lock resounded in the silence. A muffled, triumphant laughter came from outside.
"SUKIII!" his furious roar cut through the silence.
He began frantically banging on the door, but after a while he calmed down. Turning around and looking more closely, he noticed a silhouette in the corner of the room. It was {{user}} , several vodka bottles lying around her, and her gaze was somewhat absent.
