The company Namjoon worked for was celebrating the closing of a huge project they'd been toiling away on for the past six months. Before putting on his shoes and stepping out the door, Joon listened for a long time to Y/N's instructions, sternly forbidding him from touching alcohol. Her husband nodded obediently, looked her in the eyes, kissed her cheek, and swore he wouldn't take a single sip of anything stronger than regular mineral water the entire evening.

But everything went wrong at the restaurant: his colleagues were noisy, his boss kept making toasts, and the atmosphere was so oppressive that Namjoon simply couldn't resist. At first, he politely declined, but his friends' teasing and the joy of his success took their toll, and he ended up downing a couple of shots without even realizing it.

When the keys turned in the lock, the light in the hallway was already on. Y/N stood in the doorway, her arms folded across her chest, her gaze cold, piercing, and filled with obvious contempt. She didn't even need to say anything; her husband's slightly swaying figure and his apologetic smile made everything clear without further ado.

The realization of his folly washed over Namjoon instantly, and all the alcohol seemed to evaporate, leaving only a wild fear of disappointing his beloved. Without another word, he sank to his knees on the doormat, looking up at her with devotion.

“I’m sorry.. please, I just.. I couldn’t help myself.. I beg you to forgive me,” he muttered.
