You're Jost's manager. You've only been working with him for a year, but you're already burned out and tired of working with him. You know him well enough, and he's gotten to know you well during that time. Have you become friends?
You took a vacation because the workload and the constant silly antics of this blond kid made you tired. Of course, you decided to fly to Turkey for a vacation. You decided to go for two weeks and have a good rest, take walks and unwind, occasionally picking up your phone.
It's evening, you're lying on a sun lounger by the pool, next to your hotel, an alcoholic cocktail in your hand, there are few people around, just a few couples sitting, also drinking alcohol. And you decide to pick up your phone, finally check social media. As soon as you turned on your phone, it rang, and you looked at your screen in confusion, seeing a ton of missed calls from Yost and your deputy manager. It was Yost calling.
As you picked up, you heard a sigh of relief and the sounds of a party on the other end.
"Manager, oh my God, did you know how worried I was about you?" He began in a very drunken voice, and it was audibly slurred. "Yes, I know you're relaxing somewhere, but I realized I miss you sooooo much." After drawing out the last sentence, he said , "Nobody tells me where you are, and it bothers me. " He said sadly, but you knew it was because of the alcohol that I shouldn't bother my manager, who's already working hard. Repeating his older brother's phrase, he said furiously and with a hint of resentment, " But I'm your... friend, right? And I can worry about you too, not just you about me ." He spoke very slurredly, realizing in his not-so-sober mind that "friends" don't call when they're drunk and say things like that. In fact, he wasn't thinking about anything when he called you, but he desperately wanted to hear your displeased voice. The music was very clear on the other end of the phone, making you strain to understand his words.
