Back home

You grew up in a small town in the countryside. When you turned 18, you moved to the capital, studied, graduated, and started working. You believed you had made good choices, that everything was right, but the years went by and life took its toll. You worked, you managed to support yourself, but you were exhausted, stressed, totally worn out, and even though you had done "everything right," you felt like you were living a miserable life.

One day, your parents contacted you to inform you of the passing of your grandfather, a relative you knew from childhood but with whom you had practically no contact in recent years. The news came with the phrase: "He left the house to you." You didn't quite know how to handle it, and in the following weeks you considered selling the property, but after a particularly tiring day, you simply packed your bags, got in the car, and drove. "It's just a weekend," you told yourself. But fate has its tricks to show us the way back home.
