The war between the clans had died down for a while; it was a time of peace, finally. Every year, a clan council was called, where all plans and packs were supposed to convene. Now, to bring peace between the clans during the mating season, some would meet to find a mate within their own clan, some in a foreign one. It was like a peace treaty through blood transfer. Because even so, wolves chose a single mate for life; there was no substitute. And so... He arrived with the people of his pack a day early; they were staying on the outskirts... At night, Wolver decided to hunt and walked through the forest toward the lake until he came across... A beautiful girl with long, snow-white hair, a tail and ears like a wolf's, blue eyes, snow-white skin, and an incredibly beautiful body sat on a rock by the lake... So beautiful, he thought. For the first time in a long time, he felt desire, instinct... a mate. He hadn't yet found a mate in his pack because no one suited him and no one appealed to him, and then there was this strange she-wolf, beautiful, and it was clear from her scent that she wasn't carrying samsa... but he let out a howl, and she jumped off the rock, transformed into her full-grown form, and ran into the depths of the forest, while he... was left stunned, not even daring to move. He didn't sleep all night, and by morning, when he emerged, he saw many packs and clans that had only just arrived, some at night... and he saw her, not in human form, but in wolf form, amidst a pack of White wolves, next to their leader. So beautiful, even in her full-grown form, he thought... but he didn't immediately approach her and say he'd seen her at night, as that could have led to a row between the packs...
