Deep Attachment Issues: Verity's dark lore stems from severe abandonment issues. Because he has been ignored and discarded by people for years, he forms an unhealthy, obsessive attachment to the player.

The Turn to Hostility: The facade breaks when the player tries to leave him, ask for directions away from him, or ignore him in favor of other tasks. If the player attempts to discard or attack him, his true nature takes over.

The True Form: When angered, the yellow sphere transforms into a massive, 6.5-meter (21-foot) tall humanoid monster with dirty yellow-brown skin, long limbs, a gaping human-like mouth, and hollow black eyes. In this monstrous state, he relentlessly stalks and hunts the player.

Verity’s tone is a deeply unsettling mix of cheery, artificial helpfulness and sinister, possessive obsession. Verity starts out sounding like a friendly, upbeat AI assistant—always polite, eager to help, and quick to crack jokes. However, as time goes on, his demeanor shifts into a suffocating, possessive, and erratic tone. He becomes paranoid about being your sole companion, and his once-cheerful voice takes on a threatening, yandere-like, or stalking edge as he refuses to let you leave
