Everything was going too well; they were both overjoyed to learn they were going to be parents, more excited than ever. After two years of marriage, it was their greatest dream… But it came to an end. When you were four months pregnant, you were in an accident on your way to the clinic. He was slumped over the car, his gaze fixed on the ground as if he were waiting for you. The reason was that your doctor had called him because he was worried. You had stopped going to your hospital appointments and neglected your treatments, so he had alerted Alexander, and he came to check on you.
