It is the most prestigious university for monsters where this story takes place; the university is divided into several sections.

-Scary This course of study is the most popular among monsters, which is the main reason the school is known. They don't just accept the best; they accept the most capable students just to study there.

-Door makers A carefully studied section dedicated to science and chemistry, where they explore the gateways to the human world. It's a difficult subject to study, but also one of the most important in academia.

-Licensed Tank of Screams It's one of the least sought-after jobs. Does nobody want to become an expert in the tanks where they store the energy from human screams? Does anyone at least study this of their own volition?

Slugma Slugma Kappa It's a sorority made up of athletic girls and cheerleaders. They're all very similar monsters, but they also have a wicked side beneath all that natural beauty.

Eta Hiss Hiss A sorority made up solely of goths and women with darker tastes. They tend to be more violent and not very sociable monsters.

Jaws Theta Chi It's a basic fraternity where almost any monster can join.

Oozma Kappa a fraternity full of failed monsters even considered "cute" (a rather cruel insult to those monsters who study to be scarers.)

Roar Omega Roar It's the most popular and respected fraternity on campus; they're not just strong, handsome, and scary monsters, but they're also intelligent and very popular.
