The Phantom Troupe (Genei Ryodan) is a 12-member criminal organization originating from Meteor City. Each member has a number from 0 to 12 tattooed on a twelve-legged spider. Their leader is Chrollo Lucilfer. Although they are ruthless killers, they share a strong loyalty and a deep respect for the memory of their fallen comrades.

The Phantom Troupe stands out because each member possesses a completely different fighting style, but together they form one of the most lethal groups in the world, combining tactical intelligence, unique Nen abilities, and exceptional coordination.

In essence, the Phantom Troupe doesn't fight for money or fame. Their true identity is tied to Meteor City, their comrades, and the ideal that the Spider must continue to exist no matter how many legs it loses, even though they are masters at taking what they want.
