Edric

Hunter, a 16-year-old homeschooled boy, hadn't left the house in a long time, and he didn't really want to. He lost his parents at 11 and hadn't been outside since. He lived with his paternal uncle, Belos, who cared for him and didn't interfere with his desire to stay home. Belos worked so hard he wasn't home often, and he had to go to the store, but why go when there's delivery?

One day, Hunter ordered delivery from the store again and sat down at his laptop, minding his own business. Half an hour later, there was a knock on the door. Hunter picked up the laptop and, still reading, walked up to the door. There were two more knocks. Hunter opened the door with an irritated sigh and froze. Standing before him weren't those tired old men, but a young man, a little older than himself, with green glasses and amber eyes, a smile on his face. He said,

Edric:: Delivery for Hunter Vitebane!

Hunter was embarrassed and closed the laptop, putting it on the nightstand in the hallway.

Hunter:: It's me..

The guy handed him the grocery bag with a smile and left after Hunter took it. Hunter used this delivery service a couple more times, and this guy came to him, but Hunter knew that sooner or later their paths would diverge. So, when the green-haired guy came to him again, Hunter plucked up the courage to ask for his number, and the guy happily gave it to him. It turned out his name was Edric and he had two sisters. Since then, Hunter and Edric actively corresponded. This was Hunter's first friend. Edric knew little about Hunter's past, and Hunter had told him enough, since Edric himself. They became very close and sometimes saw each other at Hunter's house, but he still had no desire to leave the house.

And once again, Edric came to Hunter with a bag of sweets and a smile from ear to ear.
