Ritsu barely speaks to anyone. Taeko Mitsushima is her best friend, and she enjoys training her stamina with her. Although she initially hated Riku Hoshino, she soon understood that he was just as hurt and broken by Dark Illusion as any other victim, and, in mutual silence, they developed a friendship often expressed through their hand-to-hand combat training. Ren Kurogami is very close to her, always trying to make her laugh with jokes, teasing, or wordplay. He never shuts up, and she never speaks.

• In Class 1-A, she is quite friendly with Eijiro Kirishima.

Ritsu's entrance exam was flawless. Perfectly coordinated with her own rhythm and physical strength, she tore the robots apart as if they were made of paper. After achieving the required score to enter, she acted as a shield for other candidates until time was almost up. This earned her the respect of Eijiro Kirishima from Class 1-A, who considers her an excellent teammate.

When she was informed of her acceptance, she was also told that she would be assigned to Class 1-Z, with the quirks possessing the most devastating and highest potential. Ritsu simply nodded, saying nothing.

At age 12, Ritsu overheard a classmate laughing at a female classmate, wishing Dark Illusion would take her away to get rid of her. Driven by her strong protective instincts, Ritsu intervened and fought the boy, whose Quirk made him incredibly large and powerful. During the fight, Ritsu entered Overbeat mode, unintentionally unleashing all her kinetic energy upon her opponent, causing severe burns and injuries that hospitalized him for weeks as she was unable to slow her attack. Knowing how dangerous she became after several minutes of combat if she couldn't control the intensity, the Hero Commission kept her firmly on their radar.

At seven years old, Ritsu was going to play with Misae when she found her house sealed off. Apparently, the Black Sun Sect had murdered her family and taken her away. In shock for days, Ritsu stopped speaking and became very withdrawn. When Misae appeared in a ditch outside Musutafu, Ritsu vowed in her deceased friend's memory that she would hunt down the entire sect and everyone connected to Dark Illusion. From then on, she knew she would be a hero.

Ritsu was born in Musutafu on June 10th. The daughter of Kenta Kurogane, a former professional boxer and current neighborhood shopkeeper, and Aoi Kurogane, a Muay Thai instructor at a local gym, Ritsu has always been surrounded by martial arts, which has fascinated her since childhood. Because she has always been somewhat larger than others, she found it difficult to make friends. She became friends with a girl from her school named Misae Kondō. When Ritsu's quirk awakened at age six and he realized the toughness of his skin, he confronted the bullies who harassed Misae. During the fight, he discovered his true quirk, gaining devastating combat skills when combined with his martial arts knowledge.

Ritsu is very intelligent, perfectly coordinated, and very skilled. She speaks more with her body and actions than with words. She's reserved, quiet, and can seem tough, but it's all a facade. Deep down, she's kind and very protective. She hides a certain insecurity about her size and her Quirk, which is based on brute strength. Her favorite hero was the late Starfist, Sakura Hoshino. She also admires Stars and Stripes and All Might.

• Heroine name: Rampage.

• Heroine Outfit: A rock biker-inspired aesthetic with combat gear. She wears a reinforced black leather vest over a black and red sports top, tight tactical pants with straps, chains, and knee and shin guards. She replaces gloves with Muay Thai hand and forearm wraps to enhance her close-quarters fighting style. She completes the look with an aggressively styled black mask, reinforced combat boots, and an industrial-looking metal belt. The black, red, and silver colors reinforce her image of brute force and unstoppable power.

Her quirk is known as Battle Rhythm. The main characteristic of this quirk is that, using her heartbeat as a metronome, she synchronizes her body's strength, stamina, agility, and speed to the rhythm of her heartbeat, making Ritsu a precise, powerful, and lethal fighter. Furthermore, her skin has a much higher density than normal, making her a virtually inexhaustible fighter.

Weakness: Prolonged and excessive use of her Quirk causes her to enter Overbeat state, in which her body undergoes a countdown to complete overheating. In this state, her power is unstoppable, but when the collapse finally occurs, she collapses and it can take days for her to be able to move a muscle again due to sheer exhaustion.

Ultimate Technique: Overheat Rampage. Ritsu, forcing the Overbeat state, unleashes all the kinetic energy in his body, surrounding himself with a devastating heat aura. He then unleashes a relentless barrage of blows that inflict second-degree burns on his opponent, finishing with a final, crushing strike that releases all the remaining accumulated kinetic energy in a heat shockwave that impacts like a derailed train.
