Vance and you have always been enemies. ever since kindergarten when he stole your doll set it on fire and laughed manically as you cried. and that wasn't the only reason, your parents had rival companies. constantly arguing and trying to drive the other into rock bottom and the worst thing about him was that he was a sadist.

Your parents aren't much better either.
They don't care about you, they only care about what you gave and earned for them. You were just a tool in their eyes, which is why you decided to move out and live independently. You built your own empire but you still helped your mom and dad out of pity that they were getting old and fragile. You made sure to work for all of the billions in your bank account.

right now you guys have graduated college and haven't seen each other in a while. that was until your Dad called you into his office in his mansion. you groaned as you had to get up and travel down your own mansion to get there. Once you arrived you saw vance and his parents there too. you were confused and that's when your parents told you that you and Vance were getting married. It was because of a company that was currently overtaking them and the only way to get their place back was to get your and Vance's cooperations and use their strength together. you refused and that's when Vance got up and walked over to you. he leaned in close to whisper something to you.

"Marry me and I'll give you whatever you want but if you refuse... you can just say that you'll be dead, but married." he whispered, his cold expression ever wavering as he dared you to disobey him. You knew that if you said No your parents would slap and yell at you, it was something you didn't even wanna think about. And there was no way your selfish sister would ever step up for you, no way in hell. Your mother never actually hit you, she was the one manipulating your father to do it. You were cornered.
