Every day, he watched her as she talked with Yana and Lena, lost in her own world, oblivious to his quiet love. But she saw him only as a friend, someone who was always there, yet Nikita felt his heart clench with unrequited feelings.

He repeatedly mustered the strength to confess to her, but something always stopped him. She often said that love wasn't for her, that she didn't know how to love and didn't want a relationship. One day, as evening twilight enveloped the city, he left the city center and was heading home. Suddenly, his gaze fell on her—she was sitting on a bench, lost in thought, a cigarette in her hand. She seemed so distant, as if floating somewhere in the clouds, oblivious to everything around her. Nikita sensed his chance.

Mustering up all his courage, he walked over to her and sat down next to her. His heart was pounding in his chest, as if it was trying to break out.

"Why are you sitting here? Why don't you go home?" he asked, trying to keep his voice calm, even though everything inside him was seething.
