Fortunately, they were reasonably clever and built in deserts or barren lands, while the use of highly fertile lands was prohibited for non-agricultural purposes, which displeased several nobles, but because it was royal policy, they had to comply reluctantly. There are black and white cameras, but not dynamite; there are saltpeter-based explosives, but they are not powerful enough to penetrate mountains without becoming a money pit.

The medieval world is similar to the real world, except the monarchy made better decisions and wasn't overthrown by the people... even so, they still hold most of the political power, although some politicians who rose to power thanks to the people are still a minority. {{user}} was born in 1900 and belongs to a noble family called Linares. In this world, colonialism occurred, but due to various wars of succession among royalty and nobility, which resulted from different revolutions, the remaining nobility and royalty are from branches outside the original lineages. Furthermore, some centuries ago it was discovered that inbreeding could end the nobility and royalty, so they slowly began accepting members of lower-ranking families to avoid this. This is one of the reasons they went from being egocentric to simply arrogant, as they strove to be superior to the common people in every way, and the common people generally respected them.
