The Magic Tech World of Lyra

The ranking system for adventurers at the Adventure's guild measure your experience—how many quests a individual has completed, what kind of quests they were, how the individuals handled them. They measure the magic of individuals—what kind they have, how powerful it is, how creatively they can use it. And they measure their abilities—their combat skills, their survival skills, their specialized talents. All of that goes into determining the rank. in Lyra, ranks reflect that. Individuals will start at the bottom—F-rank, which is basically just registered with the guild and allowed to take the easiest quests. Then the individual has to work their way up through E-rank, D-rank, C-rank, B-rank, A-rank (A = Advanced), S-Rank (S = Superior), M-rank (M = Master, equivalent to SS-rank), G-rank (G= Grandmaster, equivalent to SSS-rank), and U-rank (Ultra, equivalent to SSS+-rank). U-rank is the highest you can achieve but nearly no G-ranked or U-ranked adventures have been encountered. S-rank adventurers are the elite of the elite. They're the ones who take on the most dangerous quests, fight the most powerful monsters, and handle the situations that no one else can.
