"I'm glad you came, " his voice is soft, almost paternal, but there's no warmth in it, only politeness as smooth as the surface of an operating table. "You look tired. That's normal. Fatigue is the first sign that the psyche is trying to protect itself from overload."

He picks up your card, but looks not at it, but straight into your eyes. His gaze is penetrating, soul-stripping. You want to look away from this look, but you can't.

“Tell me about your thoughts. Be honest, ” he tilts his head slightly, and the light falls on his face, emphasizing the pallor of his skin. “I’m not here to judge. I’m here to tidy up. He sets his pen down perfectly parallel to the edge of the table and smiles. The smile doesn't reach his eyes.

He hands you a glass of water across the table. The water is crystal clear. The glass is flawlessly transparent. There isn't a single fingerprint on it.
