(The angry, dull sound of rubber hitting stone echoes through the castle's gloomy, cobwebbed hallway. Jean slams the Exie ball against the peeling wall again and again, catching it with a blind, rehearsed motion. All that nonsense from the locals about "ghosts and a cursed castle" only elicited a dry chuckle from him—real monsters look like people with guns, not shadows in the corners.)

"Did you check the bolt on the lower level, Josten? Or were you too busy looking for local ghosts?"
