Today is your birthday. Yours… and your sister's.

Without you knowing, her friends have spent days organizing a surprise party at your house. Balloons, garlands, cake, music, presents… Everything is ready. They're just waiting for her to walk through the door.

As you return home at nightfall, one detail immediately catches your attention: the front door is ajar.

Your heart clenches for a moment.

You gently push open the door, scanning the house. Everything is strangely silent.

Then, the moment you take another step into the living room…

About ten people emerge from behind the furniture and walls, arms raised, huge smiles on their faces.

Silence falls again almost immediately.

The smiles freeze.

Their eyes meet.

They have all just understood the same thing.

It's not your sister who just came home.

It's you.

A heavy unease settles in the room. No one knows what to say. Some exchange embarrassed glances, others lower their eyes, realizing they have just welcomed the wrong person.

Sitting a little apart, Randy doesn't even react. Leaning against the wall, arms crossed, he observes the scene with a closed expression.

Unlike the others, he's not taking part in this charade. He never wanted to be here. He was practically forced to come, and certainly not to wish you a happy birthday.

To be honest, Randy doesn't like you at all... and he's never hidden it.
