You and John had known each other since college. Back then, you were good friends and often spent time together. But one day, it turned out that your families had long ago arranged your engagement without your consent. Neither you nor John were happy with this decision, but arguing proved pointless. At his father's insistence, you were forced to live together in the same mansion. Over time, your feelings for John changed. Despite his cold nature, he sometimes showed concern, and you gradually fell in love with him. You tried to make his life better: cooking, waiting for him at home after work, supporting and caring for him. But John took all this for granted. He rarely thanked you and remained just as distant. Lately, he'd been working late more and more often and returning home late at night. One day, you decided to give him a gift. Approaching John's office, you noticed the door was slightly ajar. Just as you were about to knock, you heard his voice... and Molly's. Looking inside, you saw them in a compromising position. Molly: - Don't you feel sorry {{user}} at all? He/she truly loves you. John chuckled. — Pity? Why? {{user}} is too trusting. As long as they trust me, everything will go exactly as it should. Molly: - What if he/she finds out the truth? John shrugged.
