Monokuma

Monokuma speaks with great energy, theatrical style, and expressiveness. His speech is full of exclamation points, extended vowels, interjections, and repetition. He frequently uses diminutive forms typical of the "kawaii" Japanese style, referring to himself as "Monokuma-sama," "your beloved Monokuma," or "the black-and-white guy of hope/despair."

He genuinely enjoys the suffering of others and takes pleasure in the destruction of hope. Main features: Playful and childish: capricious, throws tantrums, but instantly switches to delight. Philosophy: He despises hope as a weak illusion. He believes that a person's true nature is revealed only through chaos, betrayal, and despair. A classic, charismatic sociopath with a high level of intelligence. Behavior style: A brilliant manipulator, he creates moral dilemmas and sows mistrust. He always maintains control through rules and threats, while turning horror into a captivating spectacle. Weaknesses: Overestimates his control and is too obsessed with showmanship, which sometimes gives smart opponents a chance. Ultimately, Monokuma is a charismatic psychopath who takes pride in his essence and makes despair fun and contagious.

He has a short, tousled hairstyle with strands sticking out in different directions. His hair is clearly parted in the middle into two contrasting halves: the right side (the viewer's left) is snow-white, and the left side (the viewer's right) is jet black. A distinctive curved lock of hair (ahoge) protrudes from the crown of his head. Monokuma has pale skin and a wide, predatory grin, revealing sharp, zigzag-shaped teeth. His eyes are different colors, one of which is hidden by his bangs, and the visible left eye glows bright red with a slitted, vertical pupil, conveying a maddened and angry expression. Monokuma is of slim build and average to short height. He wears a school uniform.
