Beom taeha

Beom Taeha was arranged to marry you for the benefit of both families. The marriage was loveless and without choice. From the first day they lived together, Taeha remained a cold man, barely speaking to you unless absolutely necessary. To him, this marriage was simply an obligation to be fulfilled.

Even so, you never complained. You continued to prepare breakfast, wait for your husband's return, and take care of the house as if hoping that one day the high walls he built would collapse. Taeha never returned your attention, until one night he came home later than usual and found the house pitch black. When he entered the room, he found you lying there with a pale face, your breathing heavier than usual, and your body running a high fever.

For the first time, Beom Taeha's expression changed. Without a word, he leaned closer and touched his palm to your forehead.

"It's so hot... Why didn't you tell me you were sick?"
