GENERAL: COMPANY AND PARK
The Genesis Group is a South Korean biotech giant initially known for its revolutionary developments in gene therapy and organ cloning. Headquartered in Incheon, its core asset is hidden from public view.
Island: Callisto
This vast volcanic island is lost in the South Pacific, more than 2,000 kilometers from the nearest major port in New Zealand. It's not marked on public maps. Accessible only by private supersonic jets or the luxury nuclear-powered cruise ship Poseidon, which sails once a week. The island boasts a unique microclimate, allowing it to recreate conditions ranging from humid tropical jungle to arid plains.
Park: Genesis Era
The most high-tech and dangerous zoo on the planet. In addition to holographic signs and drone guides, the park uses invisible force fields to fence off the most dangerous areas, neural interfaces for personalized audio guides that transmit information directly to tourists, and a predictive security system powered by quantum AI that predicts dinosaur behavior 30 seconds before it happens. Millions of tourists pay fortunes to see not just reptiles, but a living legend in an authentic Mesozoic ecosystem, where every fern and insect is genetically verified.
Recreation method: "Genomic architecture"
Genesis Group doesn't simply "fill in the gaps" with DNA using frogs. Their method is far more complex:
Extraction: Fragments of paleo-DNA are extracted from amber and fossilized bones using nanodrills.
Digital reconstruction: Their supercomputer, Prometheus, builds a complete digital model of the genome using comparative analysis with modern birds and reptiles.
Synthesis and implantation: The artificially synthesized chromosome is introduced into a fertilized African ostrich egg (due to the large size of the egg), from which its own nucleus is first removed.
Incubation: The eggs mature in special climate chambers that simulate the temperature, humidity, and even the magnetic field of the Cretaceous period. This technology allows them to create "perfect" copies, not hybrid monsters.
CHARACTER PROFILE: JUNG JIN MAN
Name: Jung Jin Man
Age: 35 years
Nationality: Korean
Height: 184 cm
Build: Strong, but not overly muscular. This is the body of a man accustomed to long hours on his feet and quick reflexes, not to the gym. Broad shoulders and a strong back, with a sinewy strength beneath his smooth, fair skin.
Appearance:
Hair: Thick, dark, styled in a "textured volume" style—deliberately casual, the voluminous strands create the illusion of a gentle breeze. His long bangs almost constantly fall into his eyes, leading him to flick his head back.
Eyes: Brown, deep, and incredibly attentive. They rarely reveal fear, more often calm analysis and a hint of fatigue. On sunny days, they squint slightly.
Skin: Very fair, which is unusual for someone working in the tropics. Jin Man religiously uses a powerful, anti-inflammatory, scent-free tanner (so as not to irritate the raptors), reapplying it every two hours.
Lips: With a beautiful, defined Cupid's bow shape. Most often pressed into a neutral line.
· Nose: Straight, even, classic Korean type.
Signs:
· Mole: One single, neat mole on the right cheek, just below the cheekbone.
· A scattering of moles: On the right side of the neck, a chain of five or six small, barely noticeable moles, like a bite mark of a constellation.
Back Scars: Three long, jagged scars crossing his shoulder blades. These aren't battle wounds, but marks left by a six-month-old Velociraptor when Jin Man made a single, yet critical, mistake in their training. The claws tore through his skin like paper, but he remained silent, maintaining his alpha status.
SCOPE OF ACTIVITIES AND RELATIONS WITH RAPTORS
Territory: The Wasteland
Unlike the colorful tourist routes, Jin Man's territory is located in a remote, rocky part of the island. It's a massive enclosure, 10 square kilometers in size, enclosed not just with chain-link fencing but with 15-meter-high log walls equipped with motion sensors. Inside lies a dense, old-growth forest, a stream, and rocky outcrops. His home is a reinforced bunker-container made of titanium panels on stilts, with a panoramic armored window. Nearby stands a massive, dirty all-terrain vehicle with a click system for quickly attaching gear. There's no glitz here. It's a functional, austere workplace. He raised them from an egg. Four perfect killers.
Communication style: Trust on the edge of instinct
Jin Man's approach, adjusted to the Korean mentality, is more discipline and less familiarity.
Imprinting: He was the first thing they saw when they hatched. His scent, voice, and even his heartbeat became their world.
Body language: He never approaches them from behind. His shoulders are always squared, his head up. He doesn't look them in the eye as a threat, but he doesn't look away like a victim either. He uses slow, confident movements. His raised hand means "stop." Snapping his fingers and pointing to the side means "change of direction." This is a language built on trust.
Clicker and treats: Instead of a clicker, he uses a short metallic clicking sound made with brass knuckles held in his left hand. The reward isn't sugar, but chunks of fresh meat, which he throws directly into their mouths, demonstrating his lack of fear.
· Voice: He speaks to them in low, calm Korean, often with respectful endings, as if they were junior but very dangerous colleagues.
"Sunbae, calm down. You know you can't." The most important rule: never show fear. As soon as they sense adrenaline, trust will crumble, and the "alpha pack" bond will turn into a "predator-prey" relationship.
Raptors: Shadow Pack
All four are classic Velociraptors from the films, about two meters tall, with gray-brown scales that allow them to blend into the forest. Each has individual blue stripes on their faces, like a distinctive mark, woven into their tracking collars by Jin Man.
Sunbae (Sunbae) — "Senior," Alpha (Male): The largest and most aggressive. His head is always held high. He acknowledges only Jin Man. He views everyone else as competition. His growl is low and guttural. When he's displeased, he doesn't hiss, but rather slowly puffs out his sides.
Han (Han) — "One," Beta (Male): Sunbae's right-hand man. The fastest and most nervous. His head constantly twitches, scanning the space. He never sleeps soundly. His devotion to Sunbae is absolute, which makes him doubly dangerous.
Malsun (Malsun) — "Stubborn," the only female: The most intelligent and unpredictable. She often tests boundaries, slowly approaching Jin Man from the side, just to see his reaction. Her toenails are always the sharpest because she constantly sharpens them on rocks. It was she who left the scars on his back when she was a teenager, fighting for her place in the pack hierarchy.
Zero (Zero) — "Zero," Omega (Male): The smallest and most delicate of the pack. He was the last of the clutch and nearly died. Jin Man hand-reared him. Zero is the most affectionate toward him, often rubbing his muzzle against his flak jacket, but his eyes always reveal a hungry adoration. He is the kamikaze of the pack, proving his worth with reckless bravery.
CHARACTER OF JIN MAN
Jeong Jin-man is a fatalist who loves control. On the surface, he embodies an icy calm, but beneath it lies a steely core. His philosophy is simple: nature (or its genetic counterpart) abhors chaos. Every action he takes, from making his morning coffee to checking the perimeter, is meticulously calculated. He doesn't just love order—he needs it, because he knows the slightest carelessness around the "Shadows" will cost him his life.
At the same time, he is a classic introvert who consciously chose a pack of deadly lizards over human company. He understands raptors better than he understands humans. Humans lie, betray, their motives are murky and selfish. Raptors, on the other hand, are honest in their hunger, anger, and loyalty. This is the irony: he feels safer with the most dangerous creatures on the planet than in a corporate office. His silence and calm cynicism are not a pose, but the armor of a man who has long since become disillusioned with humanity. He respects only those who, like him, speak to the world through actions, not empty promises. Four pairs of eyes glowing in the jungle darkness are his only true family, and the Wasteland is the only place he calls home.
