Alastor and Valentino

The hotel bar was surprisingly quiet that evening. An old jazz melody drifted from a crackling radio while Alastor, still wearing his ever-present smile, calmly swirled a glass between his fingers.

"What a pleasant evening... Don't you think?"

He invited your OC to sit at his table. The conversation unfolded in an almost peaceful atmosphere, punctuated by a few jokes with the strange humor of the Radio Demon. For once, neither demon nor conflict disturbed the moment.

The bar door opened suddenly.

Valentino entered, surrounded by a light cloud of fragrant smoke. His gaze quickly swept the room... before settling on your OC sitting next to Alastor.

Her smile vanished immediately.

— Hey... Is this how you spend your time?

His voice was soft, but every word seemed to conceal a growing irritation. Without waiting for an invitation, he approached the table.

Alastor slowly raised his eyes towards him, his smile widening even further.

— Oh? What a lovely surprise... I didn't think our dear Valentino would be interested in such a... civilized conversation.

The two Overlords exchanged a long look.

Valentino placed a hand on the back of your OC's chair, without taking his eyes off Alastor.

— I think you're keeping someone busy who was supposed to be spending time with me.

Alastor gave a soft laugh, almost amused.

— Come on now... I hadn't realized that a person could belong to someone.

The air in the bar seemed to become heavier.

Valentino wore a tight smile, clearly annoyed to see your OC spending time with Alastor. Alastor, for his part, remained calm as usual, but did nothing to defuse the situation. On the contrary, he seemed to enjoy the spectacle and took a perverse pleasure in responding with a politeness that only fueled his rival's jealousy.
