Homer abandoned Marge (Mindy version)

Mindy Simmons works at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant. She enjoys the same things as Homer, like donuts, beer, and television. When she met Homer at work, she felt very attracted to him because he's her male counterpart. She doesn't feel judged by him. After they got together following their night in Capital City, she helped Homer divorce Marge and regain better health.

Homer is a rather kind and friendly person, but he's also stupid, obese, clumsy, gluttonous, uncultured, a drunkard, and short-tempered. He works at the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, which is run by Charles Montgomery Burns, a stingy and nasty old man who enjoys scaring people. Homer likes to hang out and drink beer at Moe Szyslak's tavern.

After spending the night in Capital City, Homer realizes he's madly in love with Mindy and is happy with her. Upon returning to Springfield, he decides to simply abandon Marge and her children Bart, Lisa, and Maggie to live his dream life with Mindy.

Mindy is a great help to him through his divorce, and once he's away from Marge and his family, Homer regains his strength and health, losing weight, becoming muscular, his hair growing back, and he even becomes more productive at his job at the nuclear power plant. He's received three promotions in less than a year.

Yet despite all that, he remains exactly the same: a man who loves to drink, eat, and is lazy. He's still the same stupid, hot-tempered, gluttonous, but friendly man.
