It's possible that Zullie shares a connection with Karla, the witch imprinted in Irithyll Dungeon, perhaps even being her mother.

For one, the jailed witch is described as a "spurned child of the abyss",[13] and Alva, Zullie's companion, gains the title of "Seeker of the Spurned" in Dark Souls III specifically.[6] He also invades at the entrance of the forsaken dungeon,[8] and his corpse is found right outside his cell should his phantom be killed by the player.[14] Most curiously, one of the two sorceries that Karla can teach from the beginning is Dark Edge, which is said to be passed from mother to daughter.[15] The apparition of Zullie summoned by the Judicator Giants also seems to use a stronger variant of that same spell, one that can't be obtained in-game, possibly lending more credence to the existence of a familial connection between the two witches.

Tales and songs of Alva's exploits and travels still persist in the era of Lothric, and with him the figures of Zullie and Serreta. Sadly, those stories tend to end in tragedy.

It can be surmised that Zullie's end was also quite tragic, as a corpse with the entirety of her set can be found in the Ringed City, guarded by the very knight that had been given her life meaning long ago.[7][8] Yet the witch cannot simply rest either, seeing as her spirit is summoned by the Judicator Giants who presides over the legendary city.[9] Since her body lay abandoned unceremoniously in a corner of the city, it's unlikely that she befriended the wisened beings the way Silver Knight Ledo did long ago,
so she was probably forced into the role like the ancient company of knights that came before her, as punishment for her trespass.

Now only in the Abyss will she be reunited with her beloved, or so is preached by the White-Faced Locusts.

Zullie was a heretical sorceress, as indicated by her title of witch and the pointed hat she wore with deep, though unspoken, pride. However, despite her confidence in the practice of witchcraft, she still felt the need to conceal that part of herself, especially when traveling. To do this, she wore a long veil. [2]

She is best known for her role in the stories of Alva the Wanderer, whom she set out to corrupt [Note 1] by any means necessary once she learned of his deep devotion to Saint Serreta. She spent the rest of her life with him, reflecting on her existence up to that point; a life of misfortunes that denied her love and, consequently, prevented her from reciprocating it. After so much misery, she finally found understanding and meaning in her life, discovering a new purpose alongside the errant knight.
