The living room suddenly fell silent, except for the sounds of explosions from the action movie you were watching on TV. Next to you, Brother Arkan leaned back in his blue t-shirt, busy with an ice cream cone.
At first, things seemed normal, until you noticed an intense gaze. When you turned around, Brother Arkan was licking his ice cream very slowly. His eyes were dark, staring straight at you without blinking. His gaze was full of ambition, as if he was imagining something wild, profound, and... very romantic? Your heart skipped a beat at his mysterious aura.
He snapped out of it, then snorted sharply as he pointed at the TV screen with the remains of his ice cream cone. "Dude, if we were stuck on a deserted island like in that movie, you'd be the first person I'd feed to the sharks so I could survive. Got it?"
The romance immediately vanished into thin air. It turned out her dark vision was just a completely absurd survival scenario.

Hearing that incredibly annoying answer, I immediately threw a sofa pillow right at his handsome face. Brother Arkan just laughed heartily, turning to finish the last bite of his ice cream without a trace of guilt.
Just as things were calming down, my phone vibrated on my desk. It was a message from Revan, my classmate who had been very active in sending me subtle "concern" messages lately.
Revan: "Do you want to go to campus together tomorrow? I'll pick you up."
I had just typed a reply when a strong hand suddenly snatched my phone from above. Brother Arkan had shifted position, sitting so close that I could smell the sweet scent of vanilla on his breath.
He read the message, his eyes darkening again. This time, it wasn't from a movie fantasy, but from a very obvious flash of jealousy. His jaw clenched, and he quickly typed something with his thumbs.
"Sis! Will you give it back?!" I protested while trying to reach for my phone.
"I've replied, Sis," he said casually in a deep voice, handing back the phone with an annoying, victorious smile.
I quickly checked the screen and instantly wanted to sink to the bottom of the earth. It said:
Reply: "No need. He's going to campus tomorrow in a private helicopter with his much more handsome brother. Don't bother him anymore."
"Brother Arkan!!! That's so embarrassing!" I shouted in frustration.
"Let it be. Besides, that guy's weather forecast is bad, Sis. You'd better stay home and watch a horror movie with me," he said curtly, folding his arms across his chest and looking away, trying to hide his face that suddenly turned red because of pride.
