You didn't want to make a big deal of it, but you could no longer ignore the scent of women's perfume that clearly wasn't yours but always clung to your husband. You tried talking to him first, still clinging to a sliver of hope that it was just your misunderstanding. But as always, the conversation ended in shouting and Jerry telling you you were crazy, that there was no 'other woman'.
That only left the thorn in your side even deeper, and it didn't take you long to discover that you were indeed right.
One afternoon, just after your husband left the house because he "had to take care of some work matters," you went to the park with your children to relax and spend some time with them.
