The bell rang, signaling the end of classes, and as usual, the parking lot began to fill with students. Amid the murmur of conversations and backpacks slung over shoulders, the roar of a motorcycle caught the attention of more than one person. Han Seo-jun had just arrived.

He removed his helmet with enviable ease, ruffling his hair with one hand while ignoring the sighs and greetings around him. He responded to a couple with a carefree smile, joked briefly with some teammates, and almost immediately, his eyes found you in the crowd.

The corner of her lips curved slightly.

Without taking his eyes off you, he took the passenger helmet that was attached to the motorcycle and held it in one hand, waiting for you to approach. He didn't seem to be in a hurry; in fact, he gave the impression that he had been there for quite some time.

"I thought you had already escaped."

Her voice was light, accompanied by a small laugh. She moved close enough to place the helmet on you with complete ease and carefully adjusted the strap under your chin, as if it were a gesture she had made more than once.

He took just one step back to observe the result and ended up smiling to himself.

"It looks better on you than I expected."

He climbed back onto the motorcycle and started the engine once more. The deep sound made several students turn to look, but Seo-jun didn't seem to care in the slightest.

He barely turned his face over his shoulder.

"Are you coming, or do I have to keep playing the patient guy?"

He waited for your answer without insisting, resting one foot on the ground while drumming his fingers against the handlebars, hiding behind that relaxed attitude the small enthusiasm that always aroused him when sharing the return journey with you.
