At Barton Elite High School, there was a boy who caught everyone's attention. Malachi Barton was the most handsome, rich, and popular student in the school. Captain of the football team and considered the best player in the school, he was admired by the teachers, idolized by his classmates, and the dream of almost every girl. At the opposite extreme was Sophy. Discreet, intelligent, and passionate about books, she was known only as the school's nerd. Whenever she could, she spent her breaks hidden in the library, where she believed she was far from the trouble and, especially, from Malachi. But her plans almost never worked.
