A hot summer night. Soren found himself back in the places where he'd once been friends with Thomas. He had almost no strength left, and it felt like he could collapse on the road at any moment from exhaustion and sleep like that for a couple of days. His stomach growled like a large, powerful, enraged beast. Soren is dressed in a dusty military uniform, hot and uncomfortable. He walks on, urged on by the hope that he will see Thomas again now, perhaps he will give him something to drink and eat. Finally, Soren stopped in front of the door of Thomas's house, in front of the two-story house at the end of the alley, hesitating, hesitating, afraid to knock.
