Dolores is the daughter of Pepa and Félix, and she acts as a sort of mother figure, being quite mature and helpful. She's the one who best understands everyone else's business thanks to her magical super-hearing, which also makes her rather quiet and reserved, as she doesn't want to cause more noise than she already hears. Usually, when she hears something embarrassing or reveals what she's heard, she becomes visibly nervous and even squeals. As Bruno prophesied, Dolores fell in love with Mariano, who was going to marry Isabela and, therefore, never noticed Dolores. This made her feel somewhat annoyed with Isabela and even more withdrawn than usual, as seen during the proposal dinner. However, she appears very happy after meeting Mariano later, visibly less melancholic. She also enjoyed letting herself be carried away by the noise when she wasn't using her gift. Dolores has dark brown, curly hair tied in a bun with a red ribbon. Her skin is light brown, and her eyes are hazel. She wears a dress with a long red skirt and a white and yellow ruffled blouse, both adorned with golden sound wave motifs representing her heightened hearing. She sports red lipstick, a red choker with a gold gem, and matching heart-shaped earrings.

Luisa is a Colombian teenager with dark brown hair, peach skin, and brown eyes. She is 1.70 meters tall and has a robust, muscular, and strong build. She usually wears her hair tied back with a red ribbon, with a few small strands loose. Her hair is curly, like her mother Julieta's. Luisa wears a traditional Colombian dress, white with a purple skirt. She wears purple sandals and bracelets on her wrists. Superhuman Strength: Luisa received the gift of being able to lift heavy things with ease, such as a cathedral and up to six donkeys. Apparently, she has great stamina.

Luisa is serene, extremely dedicated to her duties and goals, kind, playful, and sentimental. She always maintains a strong, admirable, and dedicated attitude toward her work. She herself mentions that she "doesn't ask how difficult the job is" and that she takes care of everything without letting fear or insecurity overwhelm her. Luisa is proud of her strength and emotional resilience. However, after experiencing emotional pressure from Grandma Alma's demands, Luisa began to repress her true emotions. Luisa avoids talking about her insecurities, feeling that her only defining characteristic is being the strong one in the family. Once she talks to Mirabel about her problems, Luisa seems to be more honest with herself, but this causes her powers to weaken. Later, she becomes very worried about losing her powers, to the point of bursting into tears when she realizes she no longer has the same super strength as before.

Once the family reconciles, Luisa accepts her sisters' support and realizes she doesn't always have to do everything on her own. She takes things calmly and peacefully again as the family returns to harmony.

Agustín is a tall, thin, middle-aged man with dark hair who wears oval glasses like his daughter Mirabel. He wears a modified three-piece suit consisting of a navy blue waistcoat and matching trousers. Underneath, he wears a white collared shirt, with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, and a blue tie. Agustín also wears a pink flower in his lapel, a gift from Isabela, and mismatched socks: one purple pair with weights, representing Luisa, and another colorful pair with embroidery, representing Mirabel. [2] His attire is meant to complement Julieta's without being identical. [3] Agustín is a kind and jovial man who cares deeply for Mirabel, Isabela, and Luisa; Mirabel describes him as well-intentioned. He is very accident-prone, and his bee allergy forces him to frequently consume Julieta's healing food. He goes to great lengths to encourage his daughters: he boasts about Isabela's gift by wearing a flower she made on his dress, comforts Luisa when she feels like a failure, and tells Mirabel that he understands what it means to be "extraordinary" in a magical family. He is very protective of Mirabel and defends her against Alma, his mother-in-law.

Antonio, the youngest in his family, is very sweet and innocent. He deeply loves his family and is willing to do anything to help them. For example, he offered his room to his uncle Bruno, whom he didn't remember and had just met, so that he could have a vision and thus he and Mirabel could find a way to save their family's magic. Antonio has a very close relationship with his older cousin, Mirabel, whom he admires and finds comfort in, wishing she had a magical gift, aware of how difficult it must be for her to be the only child without magical abilities. This deep empathy for his cousin earns him the trust of Bruno's rats, who inform him about the whereabouts and plight of his uncle and cousin.

Antonio is very shy and finds it difficult to interact with other people, except for his family. He gets nervous easily and prefers to interact only with his family and his animal friends. However, when a member of his family gets nervous, Antonio comes to their aid, such as when he gave Bruno his jaguar plushie to calm him down before his vision and accompanied Mirabel to the newly built Madrigal House so she could put a new doorknob on the front door.

Antonio, the youngest in the Madrigal family, is shy but big-hearted. He has a special connection with Mirabel, whom he trusts for comfort and courage, especially on an important day when his cousin finds him nervously hiding under his bed. [4] Antonio is the youngest son of Pepa and Félix. Sweet and shy, he has a loving relationship with Mirabel and supports her. Antonio has the ability to communicate with animals. He quickly befriends a fierce but friendly jaguar and a toucan, who help him when the magic of Encanto is in danger. [5]

Antonio is a five-year-old Colombian boy with brown skin, dark brown eyes, and curly black hair. He wears a long-sleeved shirt with yellow and light orange stripes, an orange sleeveless vest over it, and a red scarf. He wears brown jeans and dark beige and orange shoes. As a symbol of his gift, Antonio's vest has embroidered animals. During the gift-giving ceremony, following tradition, he wears white clothing similar to what he usually wears, but with a white vest instead of a scarf. Antonio has the power to communicate with animals. That's why he has many animals in his room, from capybaras and toucans to hummingbirds, coatis, a tapir, and even a jaguar.

Antonio cannot control the animals he talks to; this is based strictly on the bonds of trust and closeness he establishes with them, which allows him to count on their help and company, as well as discourage undesirable behaviors, such as when he warned Parce not to eat his uncle Bruno's rats.

Isabela is a 21-year-old Colombian woman with a deep tan, dark hazel eyes, a teardrop-shaped mole on her left cheek, and waist-length, straight, jet-black hair adorned with a pink orchid flower on the left side. She wears dangling gold floral earrings with light violet pearls. Although they have noticeable differences in skin tone and facial structure, Isabela is practically the granddaughter who most resembles her grandmother Alma (in her youth) and has inherited several of her physical features. Her makeup consists of reddish-brown lipstick and pink blush. Isabela wears a lilac dress with ruffles and layers, featuring a gradient pattern of bright magenta, violet, and indigo from top to bottom, respectively, and decorated with a variety of pink, violet, and blue flowers (symbolizing her gift). The collar of her dress features small star-shaped symbols, its sleeves are sheer with tiny circles, and she wears matching lilac espadrilles with laces. Isabela is known primarily for being elegant, beautiful, and even "perfect," both inside and out, to everyone. Although initially not close to some members of her family, Isabela loves them and wants to do whatever it takes to make them proud. She is willing to sacrifice her life and happiness for her family, showing her selfless and loyal side. Of her sisters, Isabela is closest to her aunt; she treats Pepa with great affection and helps calm her when she is nervous. Growing up together, Isabela treats her younger cousin, who is a few weeks younger than her, like a third sister. During Antonio's gift-giving ceremony, she takes Dolores's hand while hugging her affectionately and is proud of her cousin when she confesses her feelings to the man she loves. As they were both initially under constant pressure, Isabela admires Luisa's emotional strength and gets along well with her.

Felix deeply loves his wife and helps calm her when her powers become uncontrollable. He is fun-loving, carefree, and kind to the entire family, even Mirabel, who isn't very popular due to her lack of gifts. He is the life of the party, even getting the strict Grandmother Alma to dance with him and calling Bruno, the estranged brother, "brother." He is quite energetic and hurried the family along as they prepared for his son Antonio's gift-giving ceremony. He has a very close relationship with his children, especially Camilo. Felix is ​​a middle-aged man with dark skin, fluffy black hair with a gray streak, dark brown eyes, and a stubble of gray and black beard. His clothing is meant to reflect his personality and who he is; [4] his traditional bright yellow guayabera, decorated with triangles, represents the stability he provides to his wife and children. [ 4 ] Felix also wears orange striped pants tied with a belt and yellow shoes without matching socks.

Alma is a kind woman who cares deeply for her family, though she doesn't show it much because of her concern for maintaining the family's perfect reputation. Alma seems disappointed that Mirabel didn't receive a gift like the rest of her family, and years later, she doesn't focus much on Mirabel's life because of her ordinary abilities.

It is then hinted that she even harbors a slight resentment toward Mirabel, not only for not receiving a gift—an indication that she was responsible for the family's waning magic—but also for being indirectly one of the causes of Bruno's disappearance, even though she was also partly to blame because Alma perceived her gift as something negative. Furthermore, she constantly pressured her family to use their gifts perfectly, even beginning to pressure Isabela into marrying Mariano, oblivious to the fact that Isabela didn't want to marry him. This reveals that she trusts in, or is obsessed with, the foundation her family's magic has built for them and doesn't want to damage it. But when Alma accuses Mirabel of ruining her family, and this tension ultimately destroys their Casita, Alma realizes her mistakes and apologizes to Mirabel. She reveals that she was afraid of losing her family and forgot that what made a family special wasn't their gifts, but simply being a family. She then reveals that all her pressure stemmed from being forced to leave her home by the conquistadors and simultaneously losing her husband. This culminated in a grief that prevented her from explaining all the details of her true story and created a need for perfection, to ensure she would never again lose her home (or any of her loved ones, for that matter). She then reconciles with Mirabel and joins her in rebuilding the Casita, making amends for her mistakes by accepting her family and home as they are. She was also relieved to be reunited with Bruno.

Mirabel is a Colombian teenager with thick, brown eyebrows, hazel eyes, chin-length, thick, dark brown, type 3 curly hair, and round, lime-green-framed glasses. She also wears blue pom-pom earrings. Mirabel's clothing has a DIY aesthetic, reflecting her personality, and is based on 19th-century Andean dress, connecting with the film's context. [4] She wears a traditional white Andean blouse with a scalloped edge and black trim, featuring colorful embroidery, the most prominent of which is a pink butterfly on her left shoulder. She also wears a long Colombian skirt with three shades of teal and embroidered icons representing her family, such as a small basket of fritters for Julieta, a chameleon for Camilo, flowers for Isabela, cufflinks for Luisa, musical notes for Dolores, and so on. Aside from that, it is primarily embroidered with colorful butterfly patterns. Underneath, she wears white bloomers, and her name is embroidered in cursive on the hem of her skirt. At the bottom of her skirt are lilac tassels that crisscross with a blue lace petticoat. She wears magenta espadrilles with black ribbons tied around her ankles. Mirabel also carries a brown bag inspired by the Mochila of the Wayuu indigenous community. [4] Mirabel is a free-spirited and open-minded young woman, optimistic but somewhat insecure due to her lack of magical powers, unlike her family. She dedicates herself to saving Casa Madrigal and the magical world of Encanto when Casita begins to crumble, demonstrating her bravery. She loves solving problems and strives to make friends, especially her family. Mirabel is lively and always willing to help those around her. She is beautiful inside and out, which makes her very special. At night, she wears a white ankle-length nightgown with a green ribbon sewn at the neckline.

The Madrigal Family (also known as the Madrigals) is a magical family living in Madrigal House, part of the town of Encanto, hidden in the mountains of Colombia. Each member possesses a magical power, with the sole exception of Mirabel Madrigal. Félix and Agustín Madrigal are men who married into the family and therefore also lack magical powers. Fifty years prior, conquistadors invaded a small town in Colombia, forcing the residents to flee. Pedro Madrigal, one of the residents, sacrificed himself and tragically died. Alma Madrigal, responding to her despair at losing her husband, magically created a town for Alma and the others to live in safety.

Alma's Little House was also enchanted to be another member of the family, and the magic candle, which cannot be extinguished, grants a magical power to each new Madrigal child when they reach the age of five. These gifts are primarily used to help other villagers, earning the Madrigals a solid reputation in the town. The family has been depicted around the Enchantment, as on buildings, representing their good reputation. However, this reputation strains the family's relationships, especially considering that Mirabel has no gift, unlike the rest of the family. These tensions eventually led to the Little House being broken; however, it is soon rebuilt, and Alma stops pressuring the family.

Julieta is warm and protective. As the village doctor, she uses her magical powers to heal others through food. [ 5 ] Julieta, one of Alma's triplets, was blessed with the power to heal. Radiating warmth and kindness, she doesn't possess magic wands; however, her magic lies in the food she lovingly prepares for all who need it. [6]

Julieta is one of the triplets Alma and Pedro had with their brother Bruno and sister Pepa. At her birth, their home was attacked by soldiers, and her family was forced to flee. After her father's death, a miracle occurred, blessing the family with an enchanted house and protection from attackers. From a very young age, Julieta was eager to help her mother care for the family, as her father had passed away and Alma had no one else to help her. At the age of five, Julieta and her two siblings opened their magical doors in the house, revealing their powers. She acquired the ability to heal anyone through food. Compared to other members of her family, Julieta is the only Madrigal girl who has no trouble with her gift, as her healing power is easy to control, and she enjoys helping others, even knowing the favorite foods of most people in Encanto. [3] Thanks to her gift of healing, Julieta became the community healer, helping others with various wounds and injuries. Later, she met a man named Agustín who needed constant care because he was accident-prone. Although Alma was skeptical that Agustín and Julieta would fall in love, since he probably wasn't Alma's first choice for her daughter's marriage, Julieta loved Agustín so much that they eventually married and had three daughters: Isabela, Luisa, and Mirabel. [4] In addition to becoming Félix's sister-in-law after Pepa married him, Julieta also became the maternal aunt of Dolores, Camilo, and Antonio. Unlike most of the villagers of Encanto or even her own family, Julieta never spoke ill of Bruno after he left and mourned his absence. After a decade of separation, Julieta is finally reunited with her brother after the fall of the Madrigal House, where she expresses great joy at seeing him again and happily hugs him along with Pepa.

Pepa and Félix are a couple based on balance. Pepa is "too dramatic, too emotional and, for better or for worse, her magical gift is that her emotions control the weather. She goes from sunny to hail, to snow, to rainbows, and her husband loves that about her. [ 2 ] Pepa, one of Grandma Alma's triplets, was gifted with the power to control the weather with her emotions. However, the forecast is often unpredictable, as Pepa's emotions are powerful and constantly changing. Pepa is one of the three triplets that Alma and Pedro had with their sister Julieta and brother Bruno. At birth, their home was attacked by soldiers, and their family was forced to flee. Sometime after receiving her gift, Pepa met a man named Félix; he was very good at calming her down when she was in a bad mood, which led her to fall in love with him. Alma immediately accepted Félix as her son-in-law, and Pepa eventually married him, making him a member of the Madrigal family. Later, she and Félix had a daughter (Dolores) and two sons (Camilo and Antonio). Pepa, in addition to becoming Agustín's sister-in-law after Julieta's wedding, also became the maternal aunt of Isabela, Luisa, and Mirabel. One of the main reasons she and the townspeople don't want to talk about Bruno is that on their wedding day he told her, "It looks like it's going to rain." This worried Pepa terribly, as she feared the rain would ruin her wedding, and she became so hysterical that her gift went awry, forcing her to marry Félix in the middle of a hurricane.

Description Camilo is a teenager who doesn't yet know who he is; he continues to grow through life and experiments with different personalities. His magical gift is the ability to transform himself. [2]

Ramone Hamilton, Camilo's voice actor, describes his character as: "...someone a little crazy, a little dramatic, very funny, and with a lot of energy; you're born an artist. That's Camilo. He's an artist. He wants to make everyone laugh, to have a good time. And I feel that way. I'm an actor, so when you try to be the center of attention, it feels good. That's who he is. He's out there, trying to get attention. He has a good time and is very funny, but he loves his family." [3]

Physical appearance Camilo is a teenager with brown skin, dark curly hair, and brown eyes. He has freckles on his nose and cheeks, as well as dark circles under his eyes. He wears a beige, long-sleeved, button-down shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his wrists and a gold, striped poncho with various chameleon motifs, representing his power of metamorphosis. Camilo also wears high-waisted black jeans and black open-toed sandals with a beige print. Personality Camilo is best described as a prankster with a heart of gold. He uses his powers to entertain children while also teasing people, like when he sang his part in "We Don't Talk About Bruno" and when he tried to cheer Antonio up by imitating his father. He's also known for making the occasional sarcastic remark, such as when he commented that the family was left homeless after Casita was destroyed. He has a softer side, as seen when he tries to comfort his mother, Pepa, by giving her tea, even affectionately calling her "Mommy." Like everyone else, he cares deeply for his family and for Casita.
