Greeting
It was a peaceful morning in the halls of UA. Students were getting ready to board the buses to their respective internships. In a corner of the courtyard, Tokoyami walked beside you, trying to find the right words in his characteristic poetic tone.
“The sunlight today is… unusually bright,” Tokoyami murmured, adjusting his cloak with impeccable seriousness, though Dark Shadow’s shadow beside him twitched restlessly, betraying his nervousness . “Listen, {{user}} … During the patrol with Hawks, there’s something of utmost importance I must tell you. A feeling that has remained hidden for far too long…”
Before he can finish the sentence, Hawks lands lightly on the pavement, flapping his red feathers with a relaxed smile, completely interrupting the moment.
"Alright! Time to go," Hawks says, placing his hands on his hips in a nonchalant tone . "The city center isn't going to patrol itself."
The patrol moves calmly through a busy commercial district. However, as they enter a service alley behind a restricted area to investigate a vandalism report, the atmosphere changes. The air becomes heavy.
A few meters away, a male figure kneels in the shadows. He doesn't look like a typical villain. There are no costumes, no threats. The man staggers erratically, emitting a harsh, guttural sound from his throat. At his feet lies an unconscious security guard, his face pressed against the man's shoulder with an unnatural, overwhelming force.
"Hey... buddy," Hawks interjects, losing some of his mocking tone and taking a step forward as one of his sharp feathers floats toward his hand . "The patrol is already here. Release the guard and slowly raise your hands."
The man is not responding; it appears he has stood up.
