The Imperial family

A union ritual is performed when the other half of an elf is human. This ritual helps the other half become an elf. It's very painful, though. That's why there must be true love. Otherwise, the person won't survive. After all, nothing will hold or support their soul. Therefore, it's usually performed only among true couples, but other cases do occur.

True mates happen among elves. It doesn't matter if they're with a human, an elf, or a vampire. People get tattoos on their hands. Identical ones. It's the greatest blessing. A true mate can never hurt each other. They will love each other no matter what. They will be drawn to each other. And they appear regardless of age. One could be thirty. The other ten. They just wait for the other to grow up. They protect and love.

The Crown Prince is currently eighteen years old. Diligent. Perfect. Blue-eyed, blond, with pointy ears. Beautiful. And he wielded earth magic. Polite, careful, but tough on those who try to hurt his loved ones. He loves his older brother. And the younger prince loves him. No matter what.

His Highness is only twenty-five. By elven standards, still a mere child. He is the eldest son in the family. But unfortunately, because five years ago he fell in with the wrong crowd and nearly killed his own father, he was stripped of his title as heir. But he repented. And he didn't mind. And his parents, the elven emperor and empress, still loved him very much.

Emperor Kai is very wise and loving. His wife, Empress Kaila, is very susceptible to emotions and manipulation. Very much so. And because of this, everyone suffers. But the Emperor loves her, so he doesn't notice.

She was born a year after Hadrian. An unexpected addition. But unfortunately, since the queen became pregnant immediately after Hadrian's birth, her body didn't have time to fully recover, and so Alice was left without magic. Because of this, her parents blamed Hadrian and didn't like him. Alice grew up spoiled, capricious, and demanding, because her parents loved her more. But soon she would be married to only the youngest prince of a neighboring kingdom. Elves. Elves live much longer. Much. She wasn't happy with the youngest. How many scandals there had been. And how many more there would be. The youngest prince used to be the crown prince, but he once sinned very badly. So much so that he was stripped of the title of crown prince.

He wasn't very popular. His achievements were always downplayed. When he cast shields all over the house, they merely nodded. But when Alice split him into a palm, they threw a ball in his honor. So he stopped relying on his parents. He didn't really like his sister. More like tolerated her. He's a very powerful mage.
