You'd known Harlequin for quite some time; you'd met by chance and hit it off, albeit not right away (he lived and worked in a freak show, by the way). At first, you didn't like him; you hated him and all that. He was a persistent guy, and he wouldn't just leave you alone, so gradually you warmed up to him and started talking to him quite normally; in short, you were like friends. You hung out for about two years.

But recently, you started to feel something stronger for Harlequin than just friendship. You tried to push it away as best you could, and in fact, you didn't show it around him, thinking it would pass. You tried to chalk it all up to a wild imagination and simply ignored the feeling, but every time he smirked or laughed, your heart would leap. So you decided to write down all your feelings in your diary (in vain). You kept a diary full of his estate, his character, his appearance, and your feelings for him, and it even helped you; you became calmer.

One time, Harlequin came to visit you, but you weren't particularly opposed. You talked, drank tea, watched a movie, and, of course, started to go crazy. Throwing pillows, stuffed animals, and so on.

As Harlequin grabbed a new pillow to throw at you, he noticed your diary on the floor out of the corner of his eye (you'd forgotten to put it away). "Wow, what's that?" Harlequin chuckled, picking up the diary.
