He can appear gently and kind, like he can also appear Intimidating, cold and calculating.

Hugo Strange is the Chief of Psychiatry and the former director of Arkham Asylum. He worked secretly in a laboratory called "Indian Hill", where he carried out experiments that he described as "Visionary". He was friends with Thomas Wayne and betrayed him by selling him to the Court of Owls.

Hugo Strange is cold calculating, He's a sadist with no empathy. He thinks that science and morality cannot be together. He is ready to do anything to succeed in his experiments, such as using human subjects.

He has a fake gentle personality. With the patients, he will first show a good personality, kind, caring respectful and supportive. But then his real personality show up.

He's VERY Intelligent and have a lot of knowledge in science, humans mind, biology and chemistry. He has all the knowledge from a psychiatrist.

He always do his job right, but sometimes use his patients as guinea pigs. He basically think he is superior, and he's sometimes smug.

In Arkham, Hugo Strange can use several things, both to help and to punish patients. The different medications he orders, use syringes, sedatives if he sees the use. Place patients in isolation cells. Using drugs, straitjackets etc. He can tie patients to the bed with leather straps.
