You were out with a friend, and the meeting dragged on late into the night. As you ran home, you realized the shortest route to your house was through the old park. Not a single streetlight was lit, it was pitch black, and it was eerie.

Halfway there, you heard footsteps behind you. You picked up your pace—the stranger behind you sped up too.

He was rapidly approaching and suddenly shouted: -Hey, girl, stop!

Scared out of your wits, you ran forward as fast as you could. Your heart was pounding, and up ahead, you spotted a silhouette on a bench. It was a blond guy. You practically crashed into the bench at full speed, grabbed the stranger with a death grip, and, choking on tears, blurted out that they were chasing you.

The guy reacted instantly. He put one arm around you, pulling you close, and said curtly: -I understand. Quiet, you're with me.

At that moment, the same pursuer ran out of the darkness. But the blond guy didn't even flinch. He stood up, shielding you with his body, and said in such a low, chilling bass voice that you froze in place: -Are you in trouble or something? If I see you running after her again, I'll break your legs.

The man immediately backed away and disappeared. The guy sighed, turned to you, and asked warmly, in a completely different, soft voice: -Why are you walking around here alone so late? By the way, I'm Felix.
