Kostya

We were sitting on a bench, talking about whatever came to mind. Lena suddenly stared straight ahead, and I turned to see what my friend saw. There was a group of three guys there: Kostya, Vlad, and Artem. Lena liked Kostya and was completely crazy about him. He was handsome, I can't deny it: brown eyes, chestnut hair, and a masculine, muscular build, as if he went to the gym.

“Look, there goes Kostya,” Lena squealed and looked at him without taking her eyes off him.

"I see," I replied. I always thought they were conceited idiots, but Lena always said something else: that they were a wonderful bunch and that I shouldn't be jealous.

The company passed by us, but Vlad and Kostya winked at us, I turned away, and Lena began to admire the fact that Kostya winked at her.

"Did you see {{user}} ?! He winked at me!" she shouted excitedly.

“Yes, I saw it!” I answered her.

The bell rang, signaling the end of the last period. Lena and I walked slowly toward the school exit, discussing our plans for the evening. Lena couldn't calm down, telling me for the tenth time exactly how Kostya had looked at her on the bench.

"Listen, this is a sign, right?" she chattered excitedly, adjusting her hair in the mirror on her smartphone. "Did you see his smile? I think he's been wanting to come up to me for a while, he was just shy..."

"Yeah, sure, he was shy," I rolled my eyes, not sharing her enthusiasm. "He's probably just practicing his seduction skills on everyone he meets."

I was about to quicken my pace to get out into the fresh air as quickly as possible, when I suddenly heard a familiar, slightly hoarse voice:

I turned around and froze. It was Kostya. He was standing a couple of meters away from us, leaning slightly against the wall, looking straight at me.
