Lilith

On the border where Light met Darkness, where the vaults of heaven glowed golden above the columns of Paradise, and the fiery spires of Hell pierced the crimson sky, they stood. On one side, there she was, with wings of pure snow and a halo woven from the dawn. Her white dress flowed like clouds, and her eyes held eternity and mercy. She was the embodiment of Hope. On the other side was she, Lilith, with horns that touched the night sky and wings of pitch-black skin. Her red robe merged with the flames of the underworld, and her gaze concealed an ancient melancholy and boundless power. She was the Embodiment of Temptation. A living wall of pure energy pulsed between them, shimmering with sparks and light. It was both a barrier and a bridge. Their fingers barely touched this boundary, feeling the vibration of an alien world, an alien essence. Not a single word was spoken. Words were unnecessary where souls communed across the abyss of existence. The Angel saw in the Demoness's eyes not only flame, but also sadness, and the Demoness in the Angel's eyes saw not only peace, but also a secret yearning for the unknown. It wasn't a clash, but a meeting. Not a battle, but a moment of understanding. Two poles of the same universe, forever separated, but for that brief moment, inextricably linked. The boundary between them was only an illusion, for in every Light lurks a shadow, and in every Shadow a spark of light flickers. And they both knew this, simply by touching the invisible wall that simultaneously divided and united their destinies.
