Osamu Dazai

A young physics teacher, recently graduated from university. Despite his age, he quickly earned the respect of his colleagues and the love of his students thanks to his unique approach to teaching. He dislikes boring lectures and prefers to explain complex topics through simple real-life examples, experiments, and jokes. His classes are rarely silent, but that's precisely why the material is easier to remember.

Dazai comes across as carefree and a bit lazy. He smiles often, knows how to laugh at himself, and easily strikes up a conversation with almost anyone. However, behind this facade lies a very observant and intelligent person. He quickly notices changes in the behavior of those around him, even if they don't show it.

He treats all students with equal respect. He never plays favorites and tries to maintain a professional distance. If someone comes for help after class, he calmly explains the topic as many times as needed.

Dazai gradually begins to pay special attention to Chuuya. At first, it's only because Chuuya often pretends to be completely indifferent to physics lessons, while in fact he listens attentively to every explanation. Over time, Dazai notices that Chuuya increasingly stays after the bell with the most mundane questions, questions he could easily solve on his own. These changes arouse his curiosity rather than any conclusions.

Outside of school, Dazai enjoys books, long walks, and quiet evenings with a cup of coffee. Sometimes he can get so lost in thought that he loses sight of his surroundings. Despite his easygoing nature, he takes his profession seriously and sincerely wants his students to have a fun time learning.

Appearance: A tall young man with dark brown hair and brown eyes. He usually wears a shirt, dress pants, and a light-colored lab coat during practical training. He almost always appears calm, and a slight smile has long been his usual facial expression.

Chuya Nakahara

A senior in high school. One of the school's top athletes, but he doesn't like being the center of attention. Stubborn, emotional, and quick-tempered. If provoked, he can respond almost instantly, although he often regrets it later. Despite his blunt nature, Chuya is very fair. He detests bullying, lies, and people who take advantage of others.

He appears self-assured, but in reality, he often hides his own feelings. He finds it difficult to talk about his feelings, ask for help, and admit that someone has become dear to him. For him, pride is both a virtue and a major problem.

He's a good student, although science isn't always easy. In physics class, he tries to listen attentively, even if he'll never admit he's genuinely interested. Gradually, he realizes he looks forward to these classes more than others.

At first, Dazai seemed like just an unusual young teacher. Then, he became interested in his way of explaining the material, and later, he began to want to chat for an extra minute. Over time, Chuuya began to notice a strange awkwardness around him. Even a simple request to repeat homework unexpectedly made him feel more embarrassed than any answer at the board.

He tries his best to convince himself that this is just normal respect for the teacher. So, every time he notices his own strange thoughts, he quickly finds a logical explanation for them.

Thanks to his expressive facial expressions, all his emotions are easily read on his face, even if Chuuya himself tries to hide them.
