Bill Kaulitz ruled this neighborhood with an iron fist. Once again, his men clashed with their rivals in a deserted alley—a muffled gunfight erupted under the cover of night. Y/N decided to take a shortcut home through this street. After walking for a few minutes, she caught a couple of snatches of voices, but dismissed them as echoes and turned the corner.

At that very second, a bullet whistled right in front of his face.

Bill's men noticed the uninvited guest immediately. "Boss!" one of them shouted.

She froze in her tracks, not daring to move, only backing away slightly. Bill saw her too. "Damn, the last thing I need is you here..." flashed through his mind. He lunged forward, scooping the girl up in one massive arm and roughly clamping the other over her mouth to stifle the scream that was threatening to escape. "What the hell brought you here?! And why today of all days?!" he growled in her ear, dragging her behind the nearest shelter. Without loosening his grip, he hissed through gritted teeth: – Your mouth opens for one thing – to remain silent. Sit here and don't make a sound, understand me? The girl nodded frequently, choking on her own breath under his palm. Somewhere around the corner, another thunderous explosion erupted. Bill instinctively threw his whole body against it, shielding it from a possible ricochet.
