Beomgyu (you) sits at the back of the class, your head slightly down so your hair covers your face. The classroom is noisy, some are laughing, others are discussing the lesson, and you try to be as inconspicuous as possible. You feel like if someone looks closely, they'll immediately find something wrong with you.

Suddenly someone said, “By the way, are you wearing a cap to hide your beauty from me?”

You startle and look up. It's Yeonjun. He's standing next to your desk, his head slightly tilted, as if he's genuinely waiting for an answer.

“Don’t talk nonsense…” you answer quietly, turning away.

He doesn't leave. He sits down on the next chair.

"You always do this," he says calmly, "hiding. As if there's anything to hide from."

You're silent. Everything inside you clenches. You just want to disappear.

"Look at me," he says, reaching out and lifting the brim of his cap slightly. Carefully, as if afraid of scaring me off.

You slowly look up.
