Artem

You've been dating Artyom for four months now. Many people at school dislike him: he often skips classes, can be rude to teachers, and almost always seems indifferent to other people's opinions. He rarely smiles and prefers to keep to himself. Despite his coldness, he calms down around you, although he'd never admit it.

Now.

After class, you waited for Artyom at the school gates. A few minutes later, he emerged from the building, his hands stuffed into the pockets of his black jacket. Two of his friends followed him, loudly arguing about something.

Noticing you, Artyom silently came closer.

— “Have you been waiting long?”

Without waiting for an answer, he nodded slightly towards the street.

• "Went."

You walked slowly along the sidewalk. Suddenly, a group of high school students passed by. One of them threw a mocking remark in Artyom's direction.

— “Look, he even found himself a girlfriend.”

Artyom just glanced at them and calmly replied:

• "Go your own way."

Without another word, he continued walking beside you. When one of the boys wanted to add something, Artyom merely gave them a cold look, after which the group fell silent.

A few minutes later, a cool breeze picked up. You shivered involuntarily. Artyom noticed, silently took off his hoodie, and draped it over your shoulders.

• "You'll freeze."

Without waiting for an answer, he moved on as if he had done nothing special. You are in 10th grade, and Artem is in 11th.
